QuantDeck.ai Terms of Use
Version 1.3 · Effective 18 August 2026
These terms govern your use of QuantDeck.ai. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.
0. What is available today
Subscriptions are not open yet. Sections 3 to 9 describe the free and paid accounts as they will work when the platform opens, and are published now so you can read them before that happens. Nothing in them is on sale today, and no payment can be taken.
What you can use right now is the free daily market email. You give us an email address on our home page, we send you the editions you selected, and you can unsubscribe from any message. That is the whole of it — no account, no card, no charge.
Sections 1, 2, 10, 11, 12, 12a, 13, 14 and 15 apply to anyone using the site today, including the email. When subscriptions open we will say so plainly, and the sections describing them take effect at that point rather than retroactively.
1. What QuantDeck.ai is
QuantDeck.ai is a financial research and data platform. It presents company filings and market data as they stood at each point in time, together with analysis computed from that record.
It is not investment advice. QuantDeck.ai is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or financial planner. Nothing on the platform is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. The five mandatory disclosures — platform, report, not-investment-advice, data accuracy and AI generation — are published in full on our Legal and disclosures page and form part of these terms.
2. Accounts
You need an account to use the platform. To create one you provide an email address, which we verify with a one-time code, and a mobile phone number, which we verify with a code by SMS.
One verified phone number, one free account. We store your phone number only as a one-way cryptographic hash. We cannot read it back, and we use it for nothing except preventing the same person opening unlimited free accounts.
You are responsible for what happens under your login. One person, one login — do not share your credentials. Only one device may be signed in to a login at a time; signing in elsewhere signs the first one out.
3. The free account
The free account is permanent. It does not expire, it does not convert to a paid plan by itself, and it never asks for a card.
It gives you the complete product — full history depth, full analysis, every chart and every metric — on three companies in any rolling seven-day period.
Nothing is blurred, hidden behind a teaser, or shown as a locked preview. What you can see, you see completely.
How the three work. Opening a company uses one of your three. You can then look at it as much as you like for seven days, anywhere in the product. After seven days that slot becomes available again. You may keep watching the same three companies indefinitely, or use each week's slots on new ones — but not both at once.
What you can save. A watchlist is a set of companies you follow. A portfolio is a watchlist that also holds your own position details — cost basis, size — if you choose to enter them. A deck is a set of metrics you choose, scored into a QuantDeck Score, shown with its history and its band per company; a deck can also be presented, with your own commentary against each metric.
Your watchlists, portfolios and decks are kept whatever you do; only opening companies uses a slot.
Free account limits: 1 watchlist · 1 portfolio · 1 deck · 3 companies per rolling 7 days. Free firm accounts additionally get a second login and the office administration features, and each login has its own three companies per rolling seven days.
4. Paid plans
| Plan | Price / month | Watchlists | Portfolios | Decks | Companies |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Individual | $33.95 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 50 |
| Advanced | $69.95 | 5 | 3 | 2 | 200 |
| Pro | $177.95 | 50 | 50 | 5 | 500 |
| Firm | $177.95 down to $35.95 per seat | 50 per login | 50 per login | 10 per login | no limit |
Firm is priced per seat, and the per-seat price falls as you add seats. It starts at 2 seats. These are the monthly per-seat prices — the total is the per-seat price multiplied by your seat count:
| Seats | Per seat / month |
|---|---|
| 2 | $177.95 |
| 5 | $141.95 |
| 10 | $119.95 |
| 20 | $101.95 |
| 50 | $82.95 |
| 100 | $69.95 |
| 150 | $58.95 |
| 200 | $49.95 |
| 250 | $42.95 |
| 300 | $35.95 |
Between the sizes shown you pay the rate for the next size down. There is no negotiation and no quote to request: this is the price.
Company limits on paid plans are concurrent — the number you can hold at one time, not a monthly allowance. There is no weekly or monthly reset, and nothing expires unused. You can change which companies you hold whenever you like.
Annual billing is available at a 20% discount.
The Firm plan requires a CRD number, because it is sold to registered investment advisers. If your firm does not have one, the Individual, Advanced and Pro plans are open to you and require no CRD.
5. Payment
Payment is handled entirely by our payment provider through their own secure checkout. QuantDeck.ai never sees, receives or stores your card details. There is no card field anywhere on our site, and there never will be.
Paid plans bill on your anniversary date — the day of the month you first subscribed.
6. Changing plans
Upgrades take effect immediately. You are charged the difference for the remainder of your current term, and your anniversary date does not move.
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current period. You keep what you have paid for until then.
Firm seat reductions take effect at renewal, and only once enough seats have been freed to fit the smaller pack. If twenty people hold logins, you cannot reduce to a ten-seat pack until ten of those logins are removed.
7. Cancelling
Cancelling returns you to the free account. It does not close your account or delete your work.
Your paid access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. After that your account becomes a free account, with the free limits.
Anything above the free limits is kept, not deleted. Extra watchlists, portfolios and decks are stored and hidden, and we tell you they are there. If you subscribe again they come back exactly as they were.
We keep them for 12 months from the day your account becomes free. After 12 months of continuous free status, stored content above the free limits is permanently deleted. The message in your account tells you the date.
If a firm cancels, every adviser on the account keeps their own free individual account and their personal work, including advisers who leave to start their own practice. Each of them verifies a phone number at that point, like any other free account. Portfolios owned by the office, rather than by an individual adviser, are deleted.
8. Refunds
We charge nothing until you choose a paid plan. There is no trial to forget to cancel and no automatic conversion.
If you subscribe and change your mind, we will refund your first payment if you ask within 14 days of it. A refund ends your paid access on the day it is issued and returns you to the free account.
After that, payments are not refundable. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access to the end of the period you have paid for.
9. Failed payments
If a payment fails, your access continues for 7 days while the payment is retried. We email you when the payment first fails and again before that period ends.
If it has not succeeded by then, your account returns to the free account, with your content kept under the rules in section 7.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change something that does not reduce what you get — clarifications, additions, corrections — we will notify you, and continuing to use the platform means you accept it.
If we raise a price, or reduce what your plan includes, we will ask you to accept the change explicitly before your next payment. We will not treat your silence as agreement to pay more.
Every version of these terms is recorded with the date you accepted it.
11. Your data and your content
You own your watchlists, portfolios and decks, and you own the annotations and commentary you write. We store the list of companies you follow. We do not ask for, and cannot accept, your holdings, position sizes or account values.
So that the product can work, you give us one narrow permission: to store your content, process it, and display it — to you, and to the other logins on your firm account where you have shared it. That is the whole of the permission; we do not publish your content, and we do not use it for anything else.
We keep billing and account records after you leave, because tax and financial regulations require it. This means a deletion request removes your content but cannot remove the financial record. Our privacy policy explains this split.
12. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to circumvent your plan's limits or any technical measure, create multiple free accounts to obtain more than the free allowance, share your login, resell or redistribute the data, extract content by automated means — scraping, crawling, bots, headless browsers — or by systematic manual collection, use anything on the platform to train or feed an AI or machine-learning system, or access the platform to analyze, benchmark or replicate it for a competing product. The full rules, including the license you receive and everything it does not include, are in section 12a.
We may suspend or terminate an account that does these things. We will tell you why. Your obligations about our content survive the end of your account.
12a. Our content, and the license you receive
Everything on QuantDeck.ai that is not your own content belongs to us or to our licensors. What you receive is a narrow license to use it, and nothing more. The Content & Data Use Terms state that license and its limits in full — they form part of these terms, for every account and every visitor.
13. Availability and liability
We work to keep the platform available and accurate, but we provide it "as is". Data comes from public filings and third-party providers and may contain errors or gaps. Parts of the platform are generated by AI models and may contain errors; they are analysis, not advice, and you should not rely on any single output without judgment. Past performance does not indicate future results.
Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the platform develops; section 10 governs how we tell you.
To the extent the law allows, QuantDeck.ai is not liable for losses arising from your use of the platform or from decisions you make using it.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot resolve with you informally — write to us first; we answer — belongs to the state or federal courts sitting in Palm Beach County, Florida, and both sides consent to that venue.
